Turkish trade unions call for strike

The Confederation of Revolutionary Trade Unions (DISK), Confederation of Public Workers' Unions (KESK), Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB), Turkish Medical Association (TTB), Turkish Dental Association (TDB) have stated that they would go on a general strike on Monday.

According to a statement released, those NGOs said their members would go to their work places on Monday, express their objection to aggression and stop all the services except in ERs in support of the persistent resistance of the people who had not given up their rights and freedoms.
