Cashless payments to be introduced at Novorossiysk public transport

According to the plans, an electronic payment system will be installed in trolleybuses and buses of Novorossiysk within the next 3 years.

At that, the possibility for cash payments will also be preserved.

At the first stage of the “Convenient route” project implementation all conductors will get mobile terminals for fare payment. There are plans to completely refuse from cash payments in future, equipping new buses and trolleybuses with turnstiles.

The cost of this project implementation is estimated at 30 million rubles, which will be allocated from the city budget. According to the Transport Department estimates, the refusal from the cash payments will raise the proceeds by 40%.
