Ukraine excluded from the Paris Memorandum “black list”

On June 18, 2013 the Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure announced that, according to the information, placed at the official website of the Paris Memorandum of understanding on port state control, Ukraine was taken away from its “black list”.

This is the result of transformations at the national system of control over sea and river transport safety, taking place in the framework of the administrative reform: in particular, the establishment of a separate central executive power agency – State Inspection on safety at sea and river transport.

The exclusion of the Ukrainian flag from the Paris Memorandum “black list” is one of the conditions for entry of Ukraine into EU.
