Putin announced the date of next G8 summit in Sochi

The meeting of G8 leaders will take place in Sochi on June 4-5, 2014.

“The G8 summit, to which I have invited my colleagues, will take place in Sochi on June 4-5, 2014”, – Vladimir Putin has informed at the press conference on the results of G8 leaders’ meeting in the British city of Lough-Erne.

Russian President has found it difficult to shed light on the agenda of the future summit. “We will start coordinating it only after the UK chairmanship is over. We will take the relay baton from our British colleagues and friend only on January 1, 2014”, – he has noted.
