PACE to discuss situation in Georgia

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe may soon discuss the situation surrounding persecutions of former officials in Georgia, the head of the Russian delegation at the PACE, chairman of the State Duma's committee for foreign affairs, Alexey Pushkov, says.

The idea was suggested by the European People's Party. The Bureau of the PACE will make it final decision on the issue on June 24.
