Ukraine, Georgia plan to reach goods turnover at USD 1bln

The trade turnover between Ukraine and Georgia this year should reach more than USD 1 billion, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Vilkul said this at the 8th meeting of the Joint Ukrainian-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation in Tbilisi on Tuesday.

"Georgia is a strategic partner of Ukraine. In 2012, the trade turnover between Ukraine and Georgia reached nearly USD 800 million.

This year the task of bilateral cooperation is to cross a billion mark," said the official, who was quoted by his press office.
