Foreign ships may call at 18 Ukrainian ports
The Cabinet of Ministers approved a list of seaports, opened for the call of foreign ships.
The Cabinet's instruction No. 466-r of June 26 reads.
The list includes the following ports: Reni, Izmail, Ust-Dunaisk, Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky, Illichivsk, Yuzhny (all in Odesa region), Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Skadovsk (Kherson region), Sevastopol, Yevpatoria, Yalta, Feodosia, Kerch, Berdiansk (Zaporizhzhia region), Mariupol (Donetsk region) and special seaport of Oktiabrsk (Mykolaiv).
To remind, currently in Ukraine, a program of the port branch reformation is being realized. On May 27, 2013, the seaports' administration was created, and all strategic property of seaports was handed over under its administration (berths, water areas, channels and the general infrastructure). The administration has affiliated offices at each seaport. Other property of the ports remains on the balances of the ports' state enterprises (transshipment equipment, port fleet, ship repair shops, transport means, etc.).
