Airlines threats to suspend flights due to poor conditions of Tbilisi International Airport

"Airzena" may suspend its flights due to malfunctioning of the landing strip at Tbilisi International Airport and lack of professionalism of its air traffic controllers.

In his interview to “Prime-Time” Company’s Manager Tamaz Gaiashvili states that over the last month the Georgian air space has avoided two plane crashes by sheer luck only.

“You cannot even imagine what the conditions are at Tbilisi International Airport from the safety point of view. The infrastructure creates a real danger of a crash. The landing strip of the airport is beneath criticism”, - Tamaz Gaiashvili has informed.
