The number of passengers carried by Turkish Airlines increased by 26%
The number of passengers carried by Turkish Airlines (THY) increased to 22.4 million in the first half of this year, marking a 26 percent increase from the same period of the previous year, the company announced.

The number of passengers jumped from 17.8 million to 22.4 million as it showed a 23 percent increase in the domestic lines and a 28 percent increase in international lines.
The passenger occupancy rate rose to 78.9 percent with a 3.4 percent increase in the same period. The available seat kilometers increased from 44.6 billion to 54.1 billion with a 21 percent increase. It rose by 22 percent in the domestic lines and 21 percent in the international lines.
The number of flight destinations rose from 191 to 234 with a 23 percent increase in this period.
