Ukraine ups electricity exports by 15% in H1, 2013
Ukraine increased electricity exports by 15% in the first half of 2013, to 4.962 billion kWh, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry has reported.
In particular, in June 2013, according to the ministry, Ukraine exported 939.3 million kWh of electricity, which was 66.1 million kWh, or 7.6%, more than in June 2012.
Electricity consumption in June 2013 shrank by 332.6 million kWh, or 2.9%, to 11.093 billion kWh, whereas in the first half of the year it fell by 2.798 billion kWh (3.6%), to 74.2838 billion kWh.
