Moldova, China sign memorandum of understanding in agriculture area

Moldova and China will foster the cooperation in the agriculture area. A memorandum of understanding was signed to this end today between the Moldovan Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry (MAIA) and the Chinese Agriculture Ministry.

The document was signed by Moldovan Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Vasile Bumacov and Chinese Deputy Agriculture Minister Niu Dun during a Moldovan-Chinese meeting.

According to the MAIA, the memorandum sets the bilateral juridical framework regarding the regulation of the cooperation relations in the above-mentioned sector. Several working groups, which are going to be created in the near future, will monitor the implementation of the document’s provisions.
