Feasibility studies on 9 investment projects at Ukrainian ports are in progress
9 feasibility studies for consideration at the Ministry of Infrastructure are developed for investment projects at large and small ports, working with various cargo types and volumes.
Such information has been announced by the Manager of the Ukrainian Sea Port Administration (USPA) Yuri Vaskov. The studies cover the following ports: Odessa, Kherson, Oktyabrsk, Yuzhne, Mariupol, Berdyansk, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Illichivsk, and Mykolaiv.
According to Yuri Vaskov, investors show some interest to both large and small ports. Investment offers on Oktyabrsk and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi ports have been already received.
Analyst of the Transport Strategy Center Andrei Isayev notes that projects on the development of export cargo transshipment capacities are of the highest interest, since they generate the largest cargo and cash flows. First of all, these are agricultural products, as well as the bulk cargoes and ro-ro terminals.
