New American military diplomat introduced in Chisinau
Moldovan Minister of Defense Vitalie Marinuta met on Tuesday with the new head of the military cooperation department of the U.S. Embassy in Chisinau, lieutenant-colonel Brendan C. Barlett.
He was introduced to the Minister by the U.S. Military Attache at Moldova Brian Stephan.
Vitalie Marinuta voiced hope that the military cooperation department will be backing new cooperation projects in Moldova both in the military and social spheres.
Ltc Brendan Barlett is a career officer of the United States armed forces. He graduated from a U.S. military college (specialty: aviation) and from post-university navy school in Monterrey, California. He is a Master of Sciences on national security problems and international relations.
