Chisinau-Balti-Chisinau bike ride to be dedicated to Moldova’s Independence Day

The Paris-based Institute of Moldovan Culture and Arts and the Club of Bike Amateurs of the Republic of Moldova will organize a bike-ride Chisinau-Balti-Chisinau on August 26-27.  

According to the organizers of this event, the action, entitled “Independence on Bike” will be held under the slogan “Say Yes to Moldova’s Independence! Say Yes to Bikes!”

The action will start on Monday morning in front of the ‘Maria Biesu’ National Opera and Ballet Theater. Everyone above 18 years is eligible to participate in the bike ride. During two days, the participants will have to cross over 240 kilometers on their bikes. Upon arrival to Chisinau, they will attend different festivities dedicated to Moldova’s Independence Day in downtown Chisinau.

Those who will manage to successfully cross this distance will receive diplomas and valuable awards.
