Azerbaijan to partake in Summer Davos Forum in China
Azerbaijani delegation will partake in Summer Davos Forum to be held in Dalian, China, on September 11-13. Within the event, ICT Minister Ali Abbasov will meet with ministers of several countries and heads of international institutions.
The ministry told APA-Economics that on September 12, A.Abbasov will attend the meeting titled “Informal meeting of world economic leaders: the development on establishment of next boundaries”.
In line with being the main lecturer at the session on Protection of digital economy, th minister will make a speech as a special guest in the discussions about “Discovery of the Silk Road in 22nd century” and give detailed information on the importance of TASIM project.
Besides, within Summer Davos Forum, Abbasov is expected to take part in the IT and Telecommunications Summit and strategic meeting, sessions dedicated to introduction of digital infrastructure and other important issues.
Summer Davos Forum brings together officials of world’s leading global business structures and the forum creates unique opportunity for exchange between the business strategists and leaders of the dynamically and rapidly developing companies.
The event is expected to be attended by government, media, academia and civil society representatives. About 1,500 participants from 90 countries will gather together to share the results, strategies and solutions, achieved during the discussions, as well as focus on global issue and risks.
