2014 may bring visa cancellation to Azerbaijan and Turkey

The visa system existing between Azerbaijan and Turkey may be cancelled next year, Azerbaijani ambassador to Turkey Faiq Bagirov said in an interview with the Turkish media October 17.

According to him, work on the abolition of the visa system is underway.

"Earlier a large group consisting of Azerbaijani experts on visa issues arrived in Ankara," he said. "A Turkish delegation is expected to arrive in Azerbaijan soon."
