Moldovan PM meets EU, U.S. ambassadors
Prime Minister Iurie Leanca November 4 had a meeting with the EU and U.S. ambassadors accredited to Moldova. Attending the meeting were also Head of the EU Delegation to Chisinau Pirkka Tapiola, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Eugen Carpov and Secretary General of the Government Victor Bodiu, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The officials tackled the march of the reforms in Moldova, aiming at developing infrastructure, raising the standard of living and adjusting Moldovan standards to the EU ones.
The sides also discussed the priorities of Moldova in the period before and after the Eastern Partnership Summit due in Vilnius and the results of the meeting between Prime Minister Iurie Leanca and Yevgeny Shevchuk last week.
At an initiative by Prime Minister Iurie Leanca, the officials agreed that such meetings should be held monthly, to improve the dialogue and collaboration with the EU member states and institutions.
