Virtual Moldovan wines map launched
Moldovan citizens living abroad will be able to easily find locations where Moldovan wine is sold, thanks to a virtual map of Moldovan wines launched by the Bureau for Diaspora Relations today.
The head of the above Bureau, Victor Lutenco, has said that this project aimed at facilitating the Moldovan Diaspora’s access to Moldovan wines, promoting them abroad and identifying trade units in which they were being sold.
«I hope that, within this project, we can also motivate Moldovan wine producers to seek new ways to sell wine in as many countries as possible», – said Lutenco.
The website www.moldovanwine.net is a map on which users can place, from their computer or mobile phones, locations where they have purchased Moldovan wines. So far, more than 100 locations from almost ten countries were introduced on the site.
Users may appreciate each location by points, may post on the site videos and photos from the respective trade unit, as well as information about the store.
The moldovanwine.net project is a non-profit volunteering action, which is not funded.
