Bulgaria exports the first 75 cars to Italy – a new reindustrialization on its way
Bulgarian cars are already sold in Western Europe. The first batch of 75 cars produced by the Litex Motors factory in the Lovech village Bahovitsa left for Italy, Standart daily reports.
The ceremony was also attended by Minister of Economy Dragomir Stoynev.
150 cars are prevised for the first export to Italy, Litex executive director Ilia Ivanov informed. 200 people are working in three shifts in the factory to fulfill the order.
For 2014 they will produce five thousand machines and the final capacity of the factory is 50,000 cars per year.
Litex has also signed an agreement with Romania about exports starting in January. There is a registered interest in Bulgarian automobiles Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Macedonia and Turkey.
The main priority of our management program is the reindustrialization of Bulgaria, Minister Stoynev informed. He stressed that the automotive industry is the most promising investment area and belongs to the high-tech industrial activities with high potential for greater employment.
Last month, the plant began the production of the Chinese SUV Great Wall H6. Minister Stoynev was able to personally verify the qualities of the vehicle with a test drive , organized by the hosts. 200 workers in the factory, who are mainly young people, assisted him with a group photo with their first SUV produced by them just a few days ago.
