Crimean Resorts and Tourism Ministry proposes to hotels to fight for EBRD loans
The Crimean Resorts and Tourism Ministry invites owners of Crimean hotels and recreation facilities to cooperation in development of bids for attraction of soft loans of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
Crimean Resorts and Tourism Minister Oleksandr Liev has said about this, the Ministry's press service informs.
“Soft loans is one of priority trends, envisaged by the EU project “Diversification and support of the Crimean tourist sector.” Possibility of using soft loans will become a serious support in modernization of objects of placement and promotion of their services on the tourist market,” the Minister explained.
In turn, head of the department for cooperation with objects of placement of the Crimean tourist agencies Ihor Kobelia noted that in 2013, the Crimean Resorts and Tourism Ministry jointly with the EU project “Diversification and support of the Crimean tourist sector” intensified work on attraction of credits from international financial organizations. Currently, the EU project attracted an expert, who is engaged in development of bids for crediting 10 pilot projects of placement, recommended to Crimean resort departments.
“Work is underway as concerns four of them. This is a resort complex Gold Ear, Imperia Hotel, Forum Hotel and the Park-Hotel Porto Mare,” Ihor Kobelia specified.
