In October 2024, 11 violations (500.633 tons) of the EU embargo on seaborne imports of Russian petroleum products (excluding crude oil) to the transshipment points and EU/US ports from the Baltic Sea were recorded. The voyages were made by tankers belonging to shipowners registered in the following countries: Turkey, Italy, Greece, Germany, Seychelles, Bangladesh, Singapore.

In October 2024, 163 violations of the export of Russian crude oil and petroleum products from the Baltic Sea were recorded. 14.3 mln tons of Russian crude oil and petroleum products were delivered through the Russian ports of the Baltic Sea.

In October 2024, 201 violations of the export of Russian crude oil and petroleum products from the Black Sea were recorded. 12.4 mln tons of Russian crude oil, Kazakh crude oil by the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and petroleum products were delivered through the Russian ports of the Black Sea.

In October 2024, 12 violations of the EU embargo on seaborne imports of Russian petroleum products (excluding crude oil) from the Black Sea were recorded. 9 of violations involved the delivery of petroleum products to a transshipment points off the coasts of Greece, Italy and Romania. 2 direct voyages were made to the ports of the EU countries. One voyage was made to the USA. In October 2024, 504,455 tons of Russian petroleum products were delivered in violation of the embargo.

Russia has begun systematically shelling grain carriers that use the Ukrainian grain corridor. The attacks have become the continuation of the ongoing shelling of port infrastructure in Odesa region and have already caused damage to several vessels, as well as injuries and deaths. The collective response of the Black Sea countries is needed to deter the aggressor.

Between January and September 2024, i.e. over 273 days, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched no less than 111 attacks on targets in the occupied Crimean Peninsula and ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. Those included no less than: 30 attacks on Sevastopol, 16 on Russian Navy ships in the Black and Azov Seas, 21 on Western Crimea, 11 on Dzhankoi district, 6 on Feodosia region, and 26 on the Black Sea coast of the Russian Federation.

In January-September 2024, for attacks on regions of Ukraine from the occupied Crimea, Russian Armed Forces used no less than: 68 Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles, 153 Iskander-type ballistic missiles, 1 P-800 Oniks anti-ship missile, 4 3М22 Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles, 1791 Shahed-136/131 UAVs launched simultaneously from Crimea and regions of Russia, 360 Shahed-136/131 UAVs launched from Crimea only and 169 reconnaissance UAVs of various types.

In September 2024, 5 violations of the EU embargo on seaborne imports of Russian crude oil from the Baltic Sea were recorded. Two voyages were performed directly to the ports of the EU countries. Three voyages were involved the delivery of crude oil to the transshipment points in the Laconian Gulf off the coast of Greece and Italy.

The Monitoring Group of the Black Sea Institute of Strategic Studies and BlackSeaNews presents a database of seaborne exports of crude oil from Russian ports on the Baltic Sea in September 2024. In total, 99 tankers exported crude oil from Russian ports on the Baltic Sea. They transported a total of about 11.6 million tons of crude oil.

In September 2024, 20 violations of the EU embargo on seaborne imports of Russian petroleum products (excluding crude oil) from the Black Sea were recorded. 18 of violations involved the delivery of petroleum products to a transshipment points off the coasts of Greece and Malta. 2 direct voyages were made to the ports of the EU countries. In September 2024, 825,737 tons of Russian petroleum products were delivered in violation of the embargo.

In September 2024, 4 violations of the EU embargo on seaborne imports of Russian crude oil from the Black Sea were recorded. Two were involved the delivery of crude oil to a transshipment point in the Laconian Gulf off the coast of Greece. Two direct voyages were made to the ports of the EU countries. In September 2024, a total of 521.250 tons of Russian crude oil were delivered to the EU in violation of the embargo.

40 Tankers Exported Kazakh Oil from Russian Black Sea Port of Novorossiysk In September 2024: Database

In September 2024, a total of 40 tankers exported CPC oil from the Russian port of Novorossiysk, excluding the exports to Bulgaria and Romania. Together they exported a total of about 5.2 million tons of oil, including 5 million tons to the EU and 268 thousands tons to other countries.
