The Monitoring Group of BlackSeaNews and the Black Sea Institute of Strategic Studies reports:

on 26/03/2022, at least 6 oil tankers transported about 200,000 tons of Russian blood oil through the Bosphorus and Dardanelles for export.

The breakdown of oil tankers by shipowner’s country of registration:

  • Greece – 2

  • Turkey – 1

  • Monaco – 1

  • Germany – 1

  • Singapore – 1.

The ports of destination:

  • TR GEL GELIBOLU, Turkey

  • TR ALI ALIAGA, Turkey

  • GR KLX KALAMATA, Greece

  • LY ZAW AZ ZAWIYAH, Libya

  • MT MAR MARSAXLOKK, Malta

  • IN IXY KANDLA, India

Reference:

200,000 tons of Russian URALS oil costs about $140 million, which is equivalent to the cost of about 20 Russian Kalibr cruise missiles.
