Poti City Hall specially for BSNews: International Day of Sailors in Poti/ PHOTO

Port City of Poti has been actively involved in large-scale event of International Day of Sailors which is celebrated in about 200 countries of the world.

Georgia as a member country of the International Maritime Organization has already been celebrating this day for two years. At present there are 18 thousand registered sailors in this country. In the center of the city this day has been celebrated accompanied with grandiose events and a concert organized by the local artists. The navigation captains of Poti congratulated to the audience the International Day of Sailors.
