On 14th of May the Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of Latvia to Georgia Ms. Elita Gavele, together with the Chairman of Zugdidi Municipality Council Mr. Levan Konjaria visited Anaklia-Ganmukhuri and evaluated the ongoing construction works.

The Ambassador, after visiting the coastal-line and observing the infrastructural works conducted, noted that she was fascinated due to the fact that much works have been conducted in short time period. “Anaklia has a great future and one can feel it during about two years”, noted the Ambassador. As the Chairman of Zugdidi Municipality Council Mr. Levan Konjaria said during Ambassadors’ visit they have discussed mainly the issues of Memorandum between Anaklia-Jurmala.

On 29th of May in city of Jurmala, Latvia the Memorandum will be signed by the Mayor of Jurmala and the Chairman of Council.
