Presumably the captain of the ship was not familiar with the port of Yalta and he did not take the risks of entering the port, but anchored the ship 600 meters away from the coast.Other ships of the same size can usually dock at the port of Yalta.

Perhaps this decision of the captain was the result of considerable south easter with gusts up to 10 m/s. Besides, a storm of force 3 has been blowing up near Yalta since August 9. Tug boat «Yaltinets» got off the harbor to meet the ship, but put back after waiting about 40 minutes for the final decision .

2012-09-09 14:15 (LT). Cruise liner ARCADIA passed through Bosporus and entered into the Black Sea. 2012-09-08 from 13:35 (LT) for about a day – the ship stayed in Istanbul.

Before - 09/07/2012 from 8:14 to 17:53 (LT) the ship was welcomed at the Turkish port of IZMIR. 11/09/2012 ship will arrive in the port of Odessa.
