Bulgarian satellite to be launched into orbit in 2013

A team of young Bulgarian scientists united by the passion for space researches and technologies have set an ambitious task to create a completely new Bulgarian satellite.

They are students from the Technical University in Sofia and the New Bulgarian University, who have formed their team in the spring of 2012. The team bears the name BOREAS ( Bulgarian Orbital Research And Satellites). They managed to draw in colleagues from Canada and the United Arab Emirates who have significant experience in the development of such projects.
