EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia is extended for another year
The Council of Europe has decided to extend the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia for one year, said Catherine Ashton, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, on September 13.
"EUMM has made an important contribution to security and stability in Georgia and in the region over the past four years," – the press release of Catherine Ashton reported.
"I welcome the extension of the mission's mandate for another year," - said the head of European diplomacy.
