Bulgaria to host meeting of Finance Ministers of EU Members outside Euro Zone
Bulgaria is to host a meeting of the Finance Ministers of the 10 EU Member States outside the Eurozone, during which the EC proposal for creation of an EU monitoring body for the Union's banking sector will be discussed.
The news was announced by Bulgarian Minister of Finance Simeon Djankov, who is taking part at an Ecofin meeting in Cyprus. Minister Djankov pointed out that Bulgaria supports this measure and added that the interests of the 10 members outside the Eurozone must also be well protected. The minister said that increasing incomes in Bulgaria is one of the priorities of budget 2013.
