Ukrainian militaries participate in Light Avalanche 2012 multinational exercise
Romania hosts Ukraine-Slovakia-Hungary-Romania Light Avalanche 2012 Multinational Field Training Exercise.
Twelve Ukrainian militaries, headed by Lt. Col. Volodymyr Moiseyko, represent the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the exercise Ukrainian soldiers will perfect their skills in accomplishing specific natural disaster relief missions, chain of command relationship inside the Multinational Engineer Battalion Tisa HQ as well as improve readiness and interoperability for joint actions.
«It’s highly important for us to participate in this FTX. We work out interoperability in joint operations, gain experience in cooperation with our Slovak, Hungarian, and Romanian partners», Lt. Col. Volodymyr Moiseyko mentioned.
Light Avalanche 2012 will last until September 21.
