Reconstruction of Burgas – Sunny Beach road kicks off

Bulgarian Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Liliana Pavlova started the reconstruction of the road, connecting the Sarafovo neighborhood of Burgas with the Sunny Beach resort.

Burgas Mayor Dimitar Nikolov and District Governor Konstantin Grebenarov attended the event too. Some € 3.25 mln. from the state budget will be invested in the project. The road is extremely important for the Black Sea region. Now it will have two more lanes, or a total of four. Thus road safety will be increased and future traffic jams will be avoided, Minister Pavlova stated.
