Novorossiysk Port will invest 6.7 billion roubles in reconstruction of container terminal

The respective agreement has been signed at «Sochi-2012» investment forum between the Krasnodar Krai leaders, Novorossiysk City authorities and Novorossiysk Sea Port management.

Novorossiysk Mayor Vladimir Sinyagovsky has told the agency, it will be the most modern terminal for container transhipment in Russia, including the country’s Asian part.

According to him, current container terminal capacity is 700,000 TEU. When the project will be implemented, the capacity will increase by 450,000 TEU more.
