Turkey acts to remove anti-Islam video

Turkish authorities have launched on September 25 legal procedures for removal of video content of infamous anti-Islam movie «Innocence of Muslims» on specified URLs.

The move came after the directives of the Turkish Minister of Transportation, Maritime Affairs and Communications Binali Yildirim.

In a written statement released on September 25, the Press and Public Relations Office of the Turkish Ministry of Transportation, Maritime Affairs and Communications said that the movie «Innocence of Muslim» insulted religious values and beliefs and could be accessed on many video sites, beginning with Youtube.
