Passengers in Turkey to be able to use internet in flights
Passengers in flights conducted in Turkey will soon be able to use internet services.
Airline companies willing to provide internet services to their passengers will be able to do so after obtaining the necessary permissions from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (SHGM).
All internet service providers (ISS) will need to have authorization from the Institution of Information Technologies and Communications (BTK) before they can begin offering internet services in Turkish flights.
BTK said that there were no companies which applied to the SHGM for permission to provide mobile phone services in Turkish flights yet.
