A chain of intercepting parking lots to be built in Sochi

Implementation of the project for construction of the chain of intercepting parking lots will free the resort’s downtown from excessive automobile transport and organize the traffic solely for pedestrians and bicyclists at a part of the city streets.

According to Anatoliy Pakhomov, the City Mayor, seven thousand additional parking places will be built at Sochi territory already by 2013. According to the new traffic scheme, proposed by Austrian experts, the Sochi public transport will have the circular traffic.

The project’s implementation will be financed by an investor.
