A sunk-ship monument to be opened in Sochi

A monument to the sea vessel «Azov», sunken 70 years ago by the Air Forces of Germany, will appear in Sochi.

Its opening will become the main event at the days of Azov City from Rostov Oblast, which will be celebrated in Sochi on October 22-23.

The monument will be installed in Vishnevka settlement near the place, where the sunken ship still lies at the bottom of the offshore waters.

At present the authorities carry out preliminary works on the adjacent territory development at the place of the future monument.
