Turkish petroleum appeared the most expensive in the world
Another decrease of taxation caused the growth of petroleum prices from 4.74 to 4.83 lire per liter ($2.9). Therefore, Turkish petroleum appeared to be the most expensive in the world.
AZE.az reports that the petroleum price level in Turkey is higher than in Norway which previously was the leader in the sphere. Such a situation will be much more difficult for Turkey’s residents than for Norway. An average daily income of a Norwegian was $272 in 2011, while the same index in Turkey was $21.33, according to the Turkish Institute of Statics.
At the same time the ministry of finances of Turkey is considering the possibility of increasing prices for natural gas by 10-15% ahead of winter.
