Blast at natural gas pipeline took place in Kars

Sub-governor of the eastern town of Sarikamis, Erdogan Turan Ermis on October 3 said that a blast took place on the Shah Deniz natural gas pipeline.

Speaking to reporters, Ermis said that the blast took place in a region of forest.
«We do hope that the blast would not lead to a forest fire. We do not yet know the cause of the blast,» Ermis stated.
