The Danube Delta welcomed more than 60,000 tourists in 2012

The Danube Delta has been visited by 61 488 tourists during the period from the beginning of the year till the end of August, 2012, which is the 21% increase in comparison with the last year, the Tulcea Department of Statistics reported.

Of this number of tourists: 38,598 people arrived from Romania, while 22,890 were tourists from abroad.
