Bakhchysaray Historical and Cultural Reserve will celebrate 95th anniversary

From October 17 to 19, Bakhchysaray Historical and Cultural Reserve will celebrate its 95th anniversary.

A number of events will take place during the celebration, among them, international conference «IV academic readings in memory of U. Bodaninsky», presentation of the exhibition «Bakhchysaray on postcards,» exhibition «Monuments of Crimean old times», dedicated to 140th anniversary of artist K. Bogayevsky’s birthday and to the 95th anniversary of the museum.

Besides, organizers plan to hold a video presentation on the history of the museum, and a presentation of unique Chinese lacquer boxes, restored in Japan.

Crimean, Ukrainian and Russian historians, archaeologists and ethnographers will take part in celebrating the 95th anniversary of the Bakhchysaray Historical and Cultural Reserve.
