Turkey closes airspace to Syrian aircraft
Turkey announced the closure of its airspace for Syrian passenger liners, reports the Associated Press referring to Turkey's Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
According to the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ankara went to close his palate for passenger planes Syria because Damascus is using civilian aircraft to transport military equipment. Davutoglu said that the Syrian side is notified of the decision by Turkey.
On October 13 Syrian Foreign Minister announced the closure of its airspace for the Turkish passenger aircraft. This decision was taken after the Turkish Air Force forcibly imprisoned Syrian passenger plane at Ankara airport, suspecting that there is on board a military cargo. This plane was heading to Damascus from Moscow.
