Bulgaria hosts South Eastern Europe Simulation Exercise SEESIM12
Bulgaria hosts the computer simulation exercise of the countries from South-Eastern Europe-SEESIM12.
The United States European Command is a co-organizer of the event which will be held from October 15 to October 19 at the National Military Training Complex Charalitsa near Sofia. 10 countries from South-Eastern Europe take part in the exercise-Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Ukraine and the headquarters of the South-Eastern Europe Brigade Multinational Peace Force (SEEBRIG). Some non-governmental international organizations such as INTERPOL and EUROPOL will also take part in it.
The event aims at the experimenting of a system of mutual ties and procedures between the countries from this region in order to speed up the process for receiving aid in cases of natural disasters and terrorist attacks.
