Ivanishvili believes Lazika port construction is realistic

Bidzina Ivanishvili, the candidate for the post of Georgia’s Prime-Minister, considers the construction of Lazika city as preposterous, but at the same time declares that the construction of the port itself is quite possible.

He has announced such information to the journalists, commenting the statement of Giorgy Kvirikashvili, the candidate for the Minister of Economy, on the fact that the infrastructural part of Lazika project might be kept on.

«I am not well-acquainted with this project and cannot answer your question concretely. We will consider this issue later. The city is an absurd; as for the port, I believe it is quite realistic, but I cannot give you the clear answer now», - Ivanishvili has stated.

Some time ago Ivanishvili declared that he was not interested in Lazika project, since it was a clear fraud.
