Freight turnover of Ukrainian seaports has grown by 0.8% over 9 months

In January-September 2012 freight turnover of Ukrainian seaports has grown by 0.8% compared to the same period of 2011, having reached 113 mln tons. These figures were reported in the Ukrainian State Statistics Service publications.

Export turnover for the period has increased by 18.2% - to 70.7 mln tons. Import turnover has shrunk by 12.4% - to 12.4 mln tons. Amount of transit cargo transhipment was 28.9 mln tons (-20%).

Ukrainian river ports’ turnover for the period amounted to 4.7 mln tons (an increase of 1.5% compared to the same period of 2011).
