Bulgarian President blamed Romania that both countries could not join Shengen agreement
According to Rosen Plevneliev, the Bulgarian President, the negative report of the European Commission on the reforms in Romania hampers the integration of both countries, submitting a joint application.
Commenting the decision of the EU Justice and Homer Affairs Council to postpone the consideration of Bucharest and Sophia application, the President has stated that Bulgaria could not be blamed for it.
The Head of the State has reminded that European Commission reports has no parallels between Bulgaria and Romania, and Sophia, as it has been noted, is much better in doing its homework than Bucharest.
