Privatization of Constantza port administration, channels, and airport postponed for 2013
At the end of 2011 the Ministry of Transport announced about the renewal, in 2012, of the privatization process for enterprises, where it had a share.
This deal had to be completed by December 31, 2012, but it was postponed for another year based on the bill, initiated by the Ministry of Transport.
The following entities must be privatized:
- 5% of “Bucharest Airport” national company;
- 5% of “Mihail Kogalniceanu International Airport” national company;
- 5% of “Timisoara - Traian Vuia International Airport” national company;
- 5% of “Constantza Sea port administration” national company;
- 5% of “Constantza navigable waterway administration” national company;
- 5% of “Galati sea ports of Danube administration” national company; and
- 5% of “Giurgiu river ports of Danube administration” national company.
