Fishing ban is introduced on November 1 in the Black Sea part

The eastern Black Sea fishing control agency, with the concurrence of the YugNIRO Institute, introduces a ban for commercial and amateur fishing in the Black Sea basin for the water bio-resources’ wintering period.

The ban will be in force from 01.11.2012 till 28.02.2013.

The following wintering areas belong to the responsibility zone of the Kerch department of the Black Sea fishing control agency (from Takil Cape to Bashennyi Cape): from the berth of the Karadag Nature Reserve to Tolstyi Cape inclusive; from Meganom Cape to Peshchernyi Cape; in the Feodosiya Bay from the Feodosiya central berth to berth No 216, Chumka Cape (fishing area of the LLC «Revolution Wave Fishery»).

The zone of the ban for fishing and collection of shrimps and mollusks covers a 100-meter area of the sea from the shore.
