Georgia intends to recognize Abkhazia and South Ossetia passports at its territory

«We are not talking about the «recognition» – only about the consideration of these documents as valid at the territory of Georgia and giving them equal rights with Georgian identity cards, so

that their holders will be able to exercise the same rights with others», – Paata Zakareishvili, new State Minister on Reintegration, has informed.

«I don’t see any need to coordinate the issue of passports with Abkhazia and South Ossetia parties. This is the case when we can act unilaterally», – the Georgian State Minister on Reintegration has added.

Zakareishvili also proposes to renew the railway communication with Abkhazia and Russia in the near future.
