Georgian PM plans to cut presidential administration funding
Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili has urged Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili to move from the presidential palace to the State Chancellery, Trend reports.
Ivanishvili said this at a government meeting on November 2.
He said this is connected with the maximum reduction in spending on the maintenance of the presidential administration.
«The president spends 800,000 laris ($ 1 = 1.66 lari) just on electricity,» he added. «The state budget is not going to cover these costs.»
