Future of fishery in the Black Sea discussed in Varna

On November 5 and 6 Institute of Fish Resources held a regional meeting in Varna on fisheries in the Black Sea.

The meeting was held in the framework of the ComFish project – «Promotion of research in the field of fisheries through the dissemination of knowledge, communication and technology transfer,» which is funded through the EU’s Seventh Framework Programme.

The purpose of the meeting is to search for alternatives of developing interaction and cooperation in the Black Sea; members and guests will have the opportunity to present their vision for future sustainable fisheries in the Black Sea.
