11.5 million Lari already invested into Lazika infrastructure projects
The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure will make a decision on continuation of shore protection works in Lazika after negotiations with the Ministry of Economy of Georgia.
This information has been announced by David Narmania, the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, who has noted that 11.5 million Lari have been already spent for infrastructure works in Lazika.
«As on today, we conduct negotiations with investors on the port construction. Our Ministry has carried out a number of shore protection works there, but they will be suspended, since if there are plans to build a port there, carrying out of these works makes no sense at all. Therefore, we have to discuss it with the Ministry of Economy to clarify what the final plans are, and after that the works will be recommenced», – David Narmania has underlined.
